WHAT DO I DO AT THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT?

If anyone is injured, contact 911 immediately. You should also contact the police to report the accident. Exchange information with the other driver including, license numbers, name, telephone and insurance information. Make a note of the names of any witnesses and take photos of the damage, if it is safe to do so. WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR IN AUTO BODY REPAIR SHOP WHEN I NEED AUTO BODY REPAIR?

A reputable auto body shop will provide an accurate cost estimate and a reasonable time frame for completing the repairs. Clarify the terms of your guarantee for repair work and whether a courtesy car is available if repairs are lengthy.

SHOULD I CONTACT MY OWN INSURANCE COMPANY EVEN IF THE ACCIDENT WAS NOT MY FAULT?

Yes, even if you believe the accident is not your fault you should contact your insurance company to notify them in the event of an accident. Your insurance company can help speed up a claim no matter who is at fault. Tommy Car Collision Center provides assistance with processing your insurance claims once your vehicle is under our care and will expertly guide yoou through the process

DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN ESTIMATE?

If you are able to do so, it is recommended to make an appointment with a Tommy Car Collision Center representative in order to receive the most professional and accurate estimate. You can schedule a free estimate here. Do not attempt to drive your vehicle if it is unsafe to do so. If you need your vehicle to be towed, contact us and we will gladly refer you to our preferred towing service. TommyCard Reward Members also qualify for towing assistance.

DO I HAVE TO TAKE MY VEHICLE TO THE AUTO BODY SHOP SUGGESTED BY MY INSURANCE COMPANY?

Although your insurance company may have suggestions on where you can have collision repairs completed, it is ultimately your decision as to which auto body shop you choose. Be an advocate for yourself and choose a trustworthy auto body repair center in the Western Massachusetts region. HOW SOON CAN I BRING MY VEHICLE IN FOR REPAIRS AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

Call us with details of the extent of the damages to your car immediately following an accident and we can help you assess whether it is safe for you to drive to our location or whether you require towing. Tommy Car Collision Center provides free appraisals and detailed written estimates and always asks for your authorization before completing any auto body repair work.

DOES TOMMY CAR COLLISION CENTER OFFER A WARRANTY ON REPAIRS?

We provide extended and lifetime warranties on most repairs made to the vehicles of our clients for the time that they own their vehicle. Drop in for a visit for more information.

WHO COLLECTS THE DEDUCTIBLE AND WHEN IS IT COLLECTED?

The deductible amount is determined at the time you purchased you insurance. Unless your auto body shop is notified that this fee has been waived for any reason, the vehicle insurance policy’s deductible amount is to be paid by the customer directly to the auto body shop once repairs have been completed. Tommy Car Collision Center accepts debit and major credit cards and TommyCard Reward members may use their card benefits to offset deductible expenses.

DOES TommyCar Collision Center PROVIDE COURTESY VEHICLES?

Yes. We offer guaranteed mobility to our clients and strive to make the entire repair process as hassle-free as possible. In addition, TommyCard members will receive Free Rental Assistance!
